The U.S. Mid-Atlantic Consortium began as the Virginia Academic Integrity Working Group in 2015, meeting at the University of Mary Washington and later at the College of William and Mary. After rebranding as the Mid-Atlantic Region of ICAI, meetings have been hosted by the following institutions:

  • Christopher Newport University (2017)
  • Randolph College (Spring 2019)
  • West Virginia University (Fall 2019)
  • University System of Maryland William E. Kirwan Center for Academic Innovation and the University of Maryland Global Campus (Spring 2021) - Mid Atlantic Regional Conference

The U.S. Mid-Atlantic Consortium contains a diversity of institutional types with regional leadership stemming primarily from both historic honor code institutions and large, research-intensive universities. Networking consortium meetings are held periodically on the campus of a sponsoring college or university and emphasize student participation and growth of regional networks. The consortium welcomes engagement from anywhere in the world, but prioritizes participation from individuals affiliated with institutions in Maryland, Washington, DC, West Virginia, Virginia and other neighboring states.
